me invitaron a este show que es con plataforma abierta, así que decidí terminar esta pieza que originalmente era para mi colección personal, estuvo muchos meses en mi escritorio a medio trabajar así que fue la ocasión ideal. Gracias a Marie Ung y a Abe Lincoln jr por la incitación!

I have a bunch of fun doing this piece, it was meant to be for my personal collection but then i was invited to this show by Abe Lincoln Jr and Marie Ung, and since it is a open platform show i decide to finish this guy that has been sitting on my desk unfinished for too long. So here it is... "Don Diablo"

As you can see comparing both the Og and my version the changes are in form and not in essence i already love the OG toy so i just add some Chaus flavor, great toy Justin, Txs! one more to go ;)

by request, some crappy iphone pics of this new guy im working on, here you can see the sculpt ready, fix some things, but the most important feature are the eyes, who are sculpted "inside " the head and even now it got a little paw nose ,

now ready to paint (or maybe a mold?)

I decide to not make a massive dunny hand as paw the dunny head is already bigger than the body so in this case massive hands dont work good... so its liek a baby paw, some day he will grow up and have big hands... just not now.

Some time ago i send pics of my COARSE DEMON custom to Coarse, and they actually reply! so i want to share with you the response they gave me. Its great to have a thumbs up from them, and knowing that Mark did not enjoy artists and customizing his toys.

One more show on door, Myplastic Heart invite me along an amazing bunch of wonderful artists, all of us working on the Matt Siren "Ghost Girl" DIY version, im excited to work on this piece as soon as i have it in hand i knew what i will be doing with it.. :D Meanwhile here on the poster of the event, we can see a SUPER AMAZING custom by my UK friend Map-Map who is one of the guys i admire the most on this business. so watch out for the rest of the works, i mean 64 colors, Drilone J*Ryu, Lou Pimentel, Reactor88, Chris Ryniak, Scott Tolleson, Julie West, MArka, Abe Lincoln Jr, Jester, the Wheelbarrow, Matt Siren himself and some other artists who are new to me but im sure will be nice to be introduced to their works by this show..

So watch out...

Un Show más para este mes que viene (tres shows en julio) esta vez es organizado por Myplastic Heart la plataforma? la Ghost Girl de Matt Siren, estoy muy contento con esta pieza DIY el tamaño es perfecto (grandota!) y las posibilidades muchas, aunque yo en cuanto la recibí, supe que quería hacer con ella... aun sigo trabajando pero como adelanto en el poster del show pueden ver el increíble custom que hizo el buen Map-Map Son de esos trabajos que te dejan saber que no hay manera de igualarlo... esta realmente chingón.

Y eso que aún nos falta por ver otros trabajos por otros de mis artistas favoritos en el medio y unos favoritos por ustedes seguramente: 64 colors, Drilone J*Ryu, Lou Pimentel, Reactor88,Chris Ryniak, Scott Tolleson, Julie West, MArka, Abe Lincoln Jr, Jester, the Wheelbarrow, el propio Matt Siren y otros nombres que no conozco pero estoy ansioso de ver que hacen..

Fshizzy Custom • Chauskoskis

Hace ya algunos meses el diseñador Fshizz de la Republica Checa me envió una figura de resina de un personaje suyo, llamado Fshizzy ,es una plataforma muy sencilla pero la verdad muy bonita, y versátil, la calidad de la copia de resina es de primer nivel, sin burbujas o fallas técnicas.

Tengo terminado este custom desde hace varios meses también, pero por esas extrañas cosas que a veces suceden en mi mente (...como daño cerebral) olvidaba publicar las fotos, pues bueno, hoy finalmente y pidiendo publica disculpa al buen Alexander, a quien esta mi "Fshizzy"

En fotos pierde detalles de textura en la pintura, que se hacen con tela de mosquitero o materiales similares como telas bordadas o rejillas metálicas. Es una técnica que probare de vez en cuando y que es muy común en los customs de toys Kaiju.

Long time ago czech designer Fshizz send me over his Resin toy Fshizzy , who is a wonderful platform to work or even leaving it white as it comes is great looking (i was tempted to leave it as it was) well, i have ready the custom a couple months a go but for reasons that happen in my head ( not brain damage.. no.) i simply keep forgetting about post it. so i feel terrible about the long delay Alex, but last months has been crazy and i guess i too desorganized and clueless sometimes... my apologies my friend.

Back to the resin, Fshizzy is a super well done solid resins with 3 points of articulation, arms and head, no bubbles on the surface and a great size and feel on hand, plus fresh and simple design.. thats why i decide to keep it simple on the sculpt, cos i really like the shape of it, also was temped to do just some paint application, but seems like a lil sculpt wont hurt too much :)

Pictures not shown some spray details on the piece, but believe me, they look nice!

3 out of 24 YEAH! heres our third revealed design for the mini Karuzo artist series, and as you see we have aboard the super talented Kano he take Karuzo and create another character of his "Street Team" custom and production pieces. some examples: King panda and Stitch

We still working hard to bring this, our first vinyl project (Frank Mysterio x Chauskoskis) to life. so no exact date for the vinyl production, but i guarantee you...

Lunartik mini Cup of tea custom • Chauskoskis

Emo-Luchador, Ya se ya se, el perro no tiene que ver con el personaje o el mazo jejej

cambie de idea sobre el diseño de personaje como 4 veces, 4 ideas que me gustaban pero solo un toy, hice el perro para lo que iba a ser un cavernicola con su fiel amigo, y todo cambio pero el perro realmente me gusto y no pude deshecharlo asi que... lo deje a pesar de la aparente incoherencia :P

My custom for the Lunartik mini cup of tea show in Pictoplasma, Berlin...

This was a super fun figue to work on, but i have too many good ideas in the end is like an hybrid of those ideas LOL , my fav part is the cup as hat/helmet and about the dog and the club well those were for my OG idea, but i really like them so i decide to use them anyways :P

Batracio Malacara • Chauskoskis • Pecanpal

Este custom fue hecho hace mucho tiempo para un show que nunca llego.

Su nombre es Batracio Malacara, ( fue un Pecanpal de Noferin) Es mi primer custom toy en madera el motivo principal de hacerlo así, fue mantener el concepto de los toys de Noferin, madera reciclada (las piezas que yo talle salieron de un viejo palo de madera) y fieltro. Mide 6.5" aprox

Espero pronto escribir la historia de este personaje, y desarrollarlo aún mas en otros productos, personalmente los siento entre mis trabajos favoritos.

This was made for a show that sadly never happen... His name's Batracio Malacara which literally means "Batrachian Badface" in english doesnt sound too good but in spanish is kinda hillarius (at least for me) i want some name linked with frogs and amphibians "batracio is a less common word to refer to the frogs but here in mexico it really sound like a real first name ..

and the badface thing, well usually my characters arent too happy... so, its very obvious.

I decide to keep the Noferin natural feel , materials and "Soul" of the Pecanpal concept. thats why i use some pieces of wood that i found on the street and give the shape i want. so this time there is no epoxy or sculpey just wood, and i make the frog hat using some felt (same kind of material that Noferin )
