Toy Art Gallery is proud to present the first U.S. release of Alien Argus! Alien Argus was designed by Mark Nagata and sculpted by Masami Yamada (of Toygraph), stands 10” tall (“Standard” size), and is ready to invade your toy shelf with 10 points of articulation and two sets of interchangeable eye-stalks!
This is the first U.S. release of the Alien Argus. He’s made in Japan and features a black vinyl base with over 8 separate metallic sprays and multiple paint masks.

Wednesday, February 2nd at 11am Pacific time, and ONLY from TAG .. this first version of Alien Argus goes on sale!

Karuzo x Samuel Casal

Here’s an exclusive first look at Brazilian artist Samuel Casal’s figure design for the upcoming Karuzo 4” mini-fig series created by Chauskoskis and Frank Mysterio Jr. A prominent illustrator and engraver, Casal brings a fresh perspective to his first toy design, seamlessly blending traditional Latin imagery with touches of urban design from the sleeve flames to the gold tooth. Instead of oozing bravado, this Luchador almost seems a bit reluctant or at least weary with drooping eyes. Featuring 24 artist designs, the series mixes established vinyl toy talent, rising artists, and crossover artists from varied genres and backgrounds. Casal’s design is the second to be revealed, following the initial reveal of Bunka’s black + red design. Karuzo brings an alternative feel/vibe to the crowded and increasingly stagnant world of platform toys.

Greasebat made it on the list of the top toys of the year 2010 according to Clutter Magazine!

I have a blast sculpting this beast, translating it from the paper to the 3d world was hard but fun :)

"How to assemble a Eggore" • Eggcore • Chauskoskis

The title says all, This was a difficult piece to customize, theres no much you can change on the robot side.. plus is a beautiful toy with so many pieces that will be not smart to Not use them... so how make something very different to the rest of the artists but at the same time preserve the original toy? So i came up with this idea, split out the two the pieces and make two elements, the Eggcore and this Scientist who teach you how to put together this bot.

Una pieza complicada de customizar ¿como hacer algo que no hayan hecho el resto de los artistas y a la vez conservar el Eggcore y todas sus 50 y tantas piezas? se me ocurrio la idea de separarlo y completar el lado liso, invente a este profesor que nos enseña como se ensambla un Eggcore Rabbit, para lo cual le complete un poco a la mitad original del robot , agregue unas cuantas piezas, unos cables reales, la mitad derecha del Eggcore la complete totalmente para crear al científico todo esto completo el set. que creo quedo bastante lucidor :P

My piece arrive a couple days later but looks like the show was a success... the show will be moving from location, so im happy that at least for the rest of the tour i will be on time.

Mi Custom llego un par de días tarde pero bueno, al menos llego a salvo, el evento fue un éxito y el show seguira moviendo de locación así que igual estoy contento, mi primer show en China!

Greasebat NYCC painted Version

Jeff Lamm y MonsterWorship por fin presentaron la primer versión pintada de Greasebat (que como saben la escultura fue hecha por su servidor Chauskoskis) no solo presentaron 1 color , si no una segunda edición en color rojo, así como llegaron se fueron ahora la única manera de conseguir uno es revendido en Ebay :S

Ahora a esperar a ver cuando nos sorprenden con otra versión del Greasebat.

Chauskoskis en NYCC

El pasado Octubre rompí el cochinito y me fui a NYCC fue una experiencia muy chida, no sólo conocí la gran manzana si no que conocí finalmente en persona a muchos amigos y artistas. También el ver en persona el trabajo mucha gente que admiro es inapreciable. Espero Repetir el viaje, si no es a NYCC será a SDCC.
