Evil Greasebat • Chauskoskis

1 Off custom sofubi Greasebat originally created by Mr Jeff Lamm and sculpted by me. Now i did a custom over my own sculpt so it was kinda weird and funny to cut and sculpt over it. 

The "Evil Greasebat" has lots of new work join on, the main features added are a new pair of eyelids that give him a badass look, also I re sculpted the neck area to give him a different stance that make him look bigger and fierce, new pair of hands, new set of translucent wings and a long tail, all over i add over a 1,000 new scales to this guy. also include a mini "kaiju Kira" a mini tiny version of a character im developing in a larger version *wink wink

This figure is up to auction, starting right now, and ending monday  at 12pm CST USA this gives plenty of time to other side of the world fans who missed  a few releases because of time related issues.

I know this is old news for you, but i should put it up here anyways. been lazy with the blog last year. so still trying to catch up...

Antichrist 666 prototype i did for Frank Mysterio came from the factory this past July at SDCC13 with the unpainted black as the first release, then a DIY and after that as usual Frank Mysterio has put out there bunch of painted editions,  i don't even know how many,  so im posting here some that i found online including the ones the just arrive from the factory, the clear and GID editions, watch out on Mysterio's website or Facebook for news about how or when he's gonna release more of this beast.

Mini Greasebat • Jeff Lamm • sculpt by Chauskoskis

More old news, this Mini Greasebat project i was working on was kept  in secret until its release at NYCC 2012. Its first version was the Black one, then some time later was revealed a second version but in sitting position! honestly im not so aware about all the different releases now, but for more info head out to Monsterworship or Jeff Lamm Website.

There in the bottom picture is my original 3 parts sculpt of the mini Greasebat, Never shown until now. (hey! I guess you needed something new to see right!?)

Semi Korosiya (Cicada Killer) X Adam Saul C.A.S.T

Estoy tratando de recuperar tiempo perdido con varios post pendientes, hace meses no tengo un internet decente en casa, asi que se complica mucho estar al corriente.

Este es un proyecto que ya tiene mucho tiempo en proceso y hace meses termine mi parte, se llama Semi Korosiya, es una figura Kaiju, diseñada por Adam Saul y que será producida en Japón.

hice un prototipo en plastilina basado en dibujos de Adam, y después a esa se le hizo un molde e hice una copia en resina negra, a la que le di una pulida y detalles, posteriormente la envie a Adam, quien a su vez, la envio a Japon donde se encuentra es sus ultimas etapas.

Espero poder ver la pieza final muy pronto!


Hey guys! trying to put here a bunch of stuff that i miss or just don't have the time to post before.

So heres Semi Korosiya prototype i finish back in april or something like that, first i did a clay version, then i made a mold of it and cast it in black resin and fix up some details there, then send it to Japan for Sofubi production.

Semi Korosiya was created and designed by Adam Saul from Cop A Squat Toys, and hopefully late this year or early next one will be for sale.

Antichrist 666 X Frank Mysterio X Botaz Negraz X Chauskoskis

Antichrist 666 is a character created by Frank Mysterio, sculpted by myself and financed by the 3 of us, (mostly by Botaz Negraz and Frank) It will be the very first vinyl figure by Frank Mysterio in case that is not good enough it will be made in Sofubi! Yes that means it will be made in soft vinyl back in Japan as only the Japanese Masters can do it!

Figure was secretly shown around SDCC 2012, so far everyone got only good comments about it.

Now im working on minor changes to make it easier to pull out of the molds. so expect some changes here and there. final pics soon.
Stay tune, as we will reveal release dates eventually.

Gary Ham's sofubi Wooper Loopers unveiled, to be at SDCC

Wooper Looper is finally here on his first colorway!
After a long year of productions test and samples by the masters in Japan, Wooper looks so simple, but it give the factory big challenges, like the Gills, and the fingers and toes, mostly because of the small size of them, and the way the vinyl has to be pulled out of the molds, so they had to make some slight changes on the original sculpt here and there, but it came out fantastic, Sofubi toys have some magic, and the fact that each figure is different from one to another, flaws are beauty :D Really excited about having a Wooper in hand next week in SDCC 2012 grab yours fast because these little chums are going to fly out of the shelves!

I have a blast sculpting this beast, translating it from the paper to the 3d world was hard but fun :)

Real Fighting Greasebat Prototype

Well... Greasebat is free! pics are all around the web, so i think i can post some pics of this guy :)

I been working with Jeff since August 2009 in his character Greasebat, sketches and pics going back and forth, it start as a small project like a little collaboration between us, and the thing just grow and grow, now Greasebat is going to be produced in soft japanese vinyl by Monsterworship. Im so freaking glad to be part of the very first toy from Jeff, Congrats dude.

And thanks to Chad from MW for get involved so hard with this.

Bueno, Greasebat ya apareció por todos lados :D así que supongo que ya puedo postearlas aquí. He estado trabajando con Jeff Lamm desde hace mese en este proyecto que nació como una colaboración entre los dos, inesperadamente el proyecto crecio y de pronto Greasebat será producido en vinil suave en Japón, por Monsterworship la verdad es que ser parte de este proyecto me da mucho gusto porque mi interes de hacer esta escultura fue sólo porque me gusta el arte de Jeff y Greasebat me parecía un personaje genial. Ahora esto abrirá muchas puertas más para futuros proyectos.
