WIP Celsius • Birdman & Avenger

Acá van unas pics del Celsius que estoy modificando para el Ganmetall Celsius Show, de Rotobox y Kusovynil, que se llevará a cabo en Tag Gallery de Los Ángeles.

Normalmente me invento personajes raros pero esta vez fue irresistible hacer al Birdman, ¿quien no recuerda esa caricatura? Para muchas mas fotos (en caso de que no las hayan visto por algún lado) AQUI

Un show mas este año, nuevamente con el honor de estar entre artistazos de primer nivel y que admiro mucho. Esta vez estoy haciendo un custom basado en un personaje de caricaturas... tenia ideas originales pero de verdad fue demasiado tentador el hacer a "este" personaje, ya verá de quién hablo.

Gato Kung Lee • Kalua Moola

Segundo Kalua Moola, es un hibrido de gato y Puerco. Gato Kung Lee es un gran fan del maestro dragon, no es muy ducho en las artes marciales pero lo que es innegable es que tiene toda la onda.

Real Fighting Greasebat Prototype

Well... Greasebat is free! pics are all around the web, so i think i can post some pics of this guy :)

I been working with Jeff since August 2009 in his character Greasebat, sketches and pics going back and forth, it start as a small project like a little collaboration between us, and the thing just grow and grow, now Greasebat is going to be produced in soft japanese vinyl by Monsterworship. Im so freaking glad to be part of the very first toy from Jeff, Congrats dude.

And thanks to Chad from MW for get involved so hard with this.

Bueno, Greasebat ya apareció por todos lados :D así que supongo que ya puedo postearlas aquí. He estado trabajando con Jeff Lamm desde hace mese en este proyecto que nació como una colaboración entre los dos, inesperadamente el proyecto crecio y de pronto Greasebat será producido en vinil suave en Japón, por Monsterworship la verdad es que ser parte de este proyecto me da mucho gusto porque mi interes de hacer esta escultura fue sólo porque me gusta el arte de Jeff y Greasebat me parecía un personaje genial. Ahora esto abrirá muchas puertas más para futuros proyectos.

Por fin termine de arreglar y corregir todos los detalles con los que no quede satisfecho de esta escultura de MIA, fue hecha como regalo de cumpleaños a mi novia, y un año despues se la regreso nuevamente terminada :)

Finally i finish to fix up this sculpt i made a year ago for my girlfriend, i never felt so happy about how it come, but now i am :)

Sketchbot Custom Show, MPH New York

The "Sketchbot Custom Show" was way cool! to see so much artists attending (and his works) in one place was great, there was VISEone from PatchTogether, NEMO, Mr. Den, Andrew Bell, OsirisOrion, Stephen from Tomopop, Vin from MPH, Lou Pimentel, LYS0L, Grim & Saki from iheartcoolstuff, King Abnon, Eric from Argonaut Resins, Mr Munk, Project Detonate, Moopf, Coolvader and of course Steve Talkowski. i was watching the live feed the day of the opening and the place was packed! people keep entering all the time... was NUTS.

Toy2R+Skelanimals

Pues empiezo esto con una Sonrisa :D por fin puedo hablar sobre uno de varios proyectos importantes que podran ver la luz este año, el año pasado fui contactado por Toy2R para invitarme a hacer unas propuestas para su nueva colección de QEEs inspirados en los personajes de Skelanimals, afortunadamente fui seleccionado, (supongo que mas que fortuna fue que tienen un gusto por monos raros) Maayor fue mi alegría y sorpresa al ver la lista final ya revelada el dia de hoy, donde hay 5 o 6 buenos amigos que he conocido este par de años, en especial mi amigo y socio Frank Mysterio que se lo merece mas que yo por los años que lleva haciendo su arte y poniendo el nombre de México en el mapa del "custom toy". Well... finally i can speak about this project from Toy2R and Skelanimals last year i was asked to drop some designs for this new characters from Skelanimlas and QEE, and as you can see i was selected to join with the rest of great Artists, bigger was my surprise when i saw more than a couple of good friends there, Some huge names on the industry and some up raising talents. With these TOY2R show the way to make a great serie, supporting us and sending a message to all the people out there who work day by day showing good and fresh stuff: Keep doing what you do, dont lose the faith on your art, we are watching.

Thanks Raymond! Txs so much Kevin for all, and i guess is fair to say txs to Mitchell Bernal the man who create the Skelanimals.

SKETCHBOT Custom Show

Second show of the year im participating, this time is for a super cool toy, created By Steve Talkowski, soon to be released, im specially happy to join this awesome artists on this show cos im following the progress from the Sketchbot since Steve post pics on his flickr page, about the creation and original resin castings, i saw how the character evolve and now the final version, who looks great in person, very customizable toy... Txs Steve for invite me.

Este es el segundo show del año para mi y nuevamente uno muy importante con gente muy talentosa y reconocida, Esta vez es para el Sketchbot de Steve Talkoswky, esta vez estoy partuicularmente feliz de participar porque me toco ver todo el proceso y la evolucion del Sketchbot en la pagina flickr de Steve, que valdria la pena revisen, ya que es un excelente tutorial para los que quieren empezar a hacer sus figuras en resina. ahora el proyecto crecio mucho y tendremos al Sketchbot en vinyl y asociado ni mas ni menos que con MAD.
