"The Queen is missing" Is a complete set, i made for the WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE a 7 man show, starting today and a full month at Screaming Sky Gallery in Portland USA.

I see it like this: if my world is collides with the world of guys like F-plus, K Gosselin, DrilOne, Map Map , ZAm and Nervisw3k, then i need some guys to fight back, so i came up with this chess idea . "The Queen is missing!" O´right, i twist it a lil bit :) no Horses but Pigs, and no towers but big apes... maybe it doesnt make any sense this mix of creatures, but i decide to have some fun , just like i use to do as child, not worrying about looking good to people or make super clean or detailed sculpts. just have a little game in my mind... imagine this Gorillas droping those Handmade granades to enemies, and the pigs attacking with those corn hammers... hell thats FUN!

You can see theres no queen right now, but she will show up at some point ... (another twist here) if a buyer decide to save the queen, he should make a leap of faith with me, and the queen will be made as a comission (which i dont take very often) so i think it can be fun to be in contact with the buyer and make a personilized OG sculpt.

El show es en Screaming sky gallery en Portland Oregon, USA. empieza Hoy y dura la exhibición todo un mes.

Mi idea fue hacer un pequeño ejercito, y de ahí la idea del ajedrez fue inmediata... no quise concentrarme tanto en la calidad de la escultura o la pintura (además de que el tiempo se me vino encima y se convirtió en una limitante) lo principal fue pasar un buen rato con los personajes, tal y como lo hacia de niño con mi plastilina, hacer lo primero que se me ocurriera, sin importar si tiene sentido que el rey es una rana o que lo que deberían de ser caballos y torres son puercos con martillos en forma de mazorca o un mandril y un gorila en lugar de torres. se complementan con un par de cocodrilos que hace de consejeros (alfiles) y un puñado de Dunnys customizados convertidos en peones anfibios.

La reina? esta perdida. si alguien desea rescatarla puede contactarme para hacer una única comisión, al gusto del interesado. No sera custom, si no una Chauskoskis 100% original.

order of make my own version of his argus i had to reconstruct a bit here

and there, but dont be mad even the anthenas still there :)

The name? i cant stop looking this as a broccoli :S So, this is the Scientific name of it.

En persona tiene más tonos verdes y unos toques metálicos y destellos

que no se aprecian en mis fotos... Ojalá se tomen el tiempo de analizar

que paso con las partes de la figura original, en realidad el gran cambio

lo hizo voltear el torso y usar las antenas como muslos, esculpí un poco el rostro

y complete algunas partes con la misma

textura que Mark utilizo. el nombre es porque por algo no dejo de verlo como un brócoli!

COARSE DEMON • CHAUSKOSKIS

Después de mucho tiempo quedo listo el Jaws Pain de Coarse toys, es una pieza para un coleccionista privado. Como saben, mi idea desde un principio fue respetar al máximo las características de los toys de Coarse, no hacer un custom como tal, más bien manejarlo como si fuera una pieza edición especial de COarse, por supuesto a pesar de que mantuve el estilo Coarse, logre con sutiles detalles o cambios drásticos (como el casco) darle el toque "Chauskoskis" , que si se viera que es algo hecho por mi. El lograr que parezca una pieza muy sencilla y con poco trabajo, a pesar de que tuvo mucho trabajo de "reconstrucción" re-esculpir piernas, alargar las botas, eliminar el cabello y recrear el craneo para poder hacer la mascara, un nuevo par de manos etc... Espero haberlo logrado el impacto que buscaba, y que a pesar de que a Mark Landwehr no le gusta que customizen sus toys, este creo, lo dejaría bastante complacido.

After long long time finally i finish this piece for a very patient private collector, as you know if been following this custom, i try to make a piece not as a custom but more as if this was a special edition by Coarse toys, so i preserve the main features of the character, and turn it into a luchador, even doing this, i manage it in a way to give the figure my own style, yes it looks like a Coarse but it does have some "chauskoskis" features, as you can see on the big changes of the "helmet" now is not a Shark with pointy nose, now is a hardcore demon, also some fine details such asa full new pair of hands to give more character and strenght to the sculpt.

I heard that Mark Landwehr hate people customizing his toys, but i think this one is one he might approve :)

Karuzo x Samuel Casal

Here’s an exclusive first look at Brazilian artist Samuel Casal’s figure design for the upcoming Karuzo 4” mini-fig series created by Chauskoskis and Frank Mysterio Jr. A prominent illustrator and engraver, Casal brings a fresh perspective to his first toy design, seamlessly blending traditional Latin imagery with touches of urban design from the sleeve flames to the gold tooth. Instead of oozing bravado, this Luchador almost seems a bit reluctant or at least weary with drooping eyes. Featuring 24 artist designs, the series mixes established vinyl toy talent, rising artists, and crossover artists from varied genres and backgrounds. Casal’s design is the second to be revealed, following the initial reveal of Bunka’s black + red design. Karuzo brings an alternative feel/vibe to the crowded and increasingly stagnant world of platform toys.
