Little Cranston • When The Hell Freezes Over 2

My piece for the "When The Hell Freezes Over 2" at My plastic Heart gallery in NY

back in 2009 Lou Pimentel invite me to the first show of his resin figure "Cranston", I create for it "Papi Cranston". now Lou have a new figure made in Sofubi. and i got invited again. So It felt just right to create something very similar. so what best than a younger version of Papi Cranston?

I been working a bit with Zbrush and im finding the whole experience super fun, so im working on a few things that hopefully will make it into production soon.

Baby Greasebat • Brown Chocolate with Golden spray & G.A.S. Edition (brown chocolate)

Hey guys, this is the third official release of the Baby Greasebats, (i just realized I skipped the red NYCC painted version, so that would be next) this obviously is based on the colorway Jeff released in 2011, Brown dark chocolate, yellow and nice sprayed golden details. Also im releasing very few of the "blank" version called G.A.S. edition which is plain dark Chocolate. 

These will be up at my store thursday, November 13 at 4pm PST. 

For  these I managed to lower  the price  quit a bit compared with the previous (sold out) editions.
So thats a thank you for the support along these years. 

More new cool projects are coming so watch out. hope you like plush?

Birro the clown 8" • Custom dunny • Chauskoskis

I made an 8" Birro back in 2010 for SDCC '11 Before the actual Kidrobot production of the 3".
I promised I will make a run of those but never had the chance. now few years later. Im on it again, and i just finished this one  for a collector (with the KR version colors) and already starting a small run. will see how that go. Stay tuned.

HUEXóLOTL • PROTOTYPE • CHAUSKOSKIS

So many projects and ideas on the shelf for so long, happily this prototype is already in Japan to receive the Sofubi treatment! 
This will be my very first self produced figure. why sofubi? Nostalgia. And also its the right medium for this character, even I am willing to sacrifice and lose a details from the sculpture in order to get it done by the masters at Japan.that kind of craftsmanship is priceless.

CONJURING MISCHIEF • Stranger Factory

Still catching up with old stuff.

Back in May was the opening of Conjuring Mischief a group show at Stranger Factory, curated by Brandt Peters and Kathie Olivas,  using the Skelve figure and others of Brandt Mifists figures.

I create a bit of a dark piece called "The Exordium", I flipped upside down the head of the Skelve and add some signature "Chauskoskian" features here and there, creepy funny looking guy with some nice details which i loved, like the symmetric mustache and eyebrows.

My first Skelve ever was fun.
